ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
Payroll Entry
We are seeking an Accounting Technician to support our administration department.

What you’ll do:

Payroll (50%)

  • Perform the complete weekly payroll cycle: data entry, validation, payment issuance, file updates, and bank tracking (vacation, leave, worked hours)
  • Produce annual documents (T4, RL-1), records of employment, and answer employee inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with payroll standards and obligations (CNESST, CRA, Revenu Québec,
    QPP, QPIP)
  • Validate complex reports (earnings registers, deductions, and withholdings)

Accounting (50%)

  • Maintain books for various accounting cycles
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare tax reports

What we’re looking for:

  • DEP or DEC in Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Good knowledge of labor laws and tax obligations
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

ACCOUNTANT / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Thibault Chevrolet is looking for a key professional to join its administrative team and contribute to financial management and process optimization.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the complete accounting cycle: accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger verification.
  • Produce monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance.
  • Prepare year-end documentation for external auditors.
  • Provide operational and strategic support to the controller.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting and administrative processes.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required by the department.
